MuVu (Little Artist = Big Artist) - workshop for school children

MuVu - Little Artist = Big Artist
29 November 2026 | 15:30–17:30 | Mediterranean Dance Centre, Svetvinčenat

Creating a performance involves much more than what we see on stage. Behind every movement, sound, character and scene are different ideas, skills and people who bring them together.

Ahead of the premiere of DivaGOAT, or Scenes from High Society, primary school children will have the opportunity to discover what it means to be part of this creative community.

During the MuVu – Little Artist = Big Artist workshop, participants will join professional artists in exploring movement, music, acting and other elements of theatre-making. Through practical activities, play and experimentation, they will try out different artistic roles and discover how their own ideas can contribute to a shared creative outcome.

The workshop is open to primary school children of all experience levels. It aims to encourage curiosity, creativity and collaboration, showing that everyone has something valuable to contribute.

Following the workshop, at 18:00, the Mediterranean Dance Centre will host the premiere of DivaGOAT, or Scenes from High Society, a non-verbal theatrical fable for the whole family, directed and choreographed by Natalija Manojlović Varga, produced by KATANA and co-produced by the Mediterranean Dance Centre and Zagreb Dance Centre.
