July Workshops at MPC: movement, exchange, and collective reflection

This July, the Mediterranean Dance Center offers four diverse workshops that connect artistic creation with the public – through movement, conversation, and shared experience. At MPC, we aim to create space for knowledge exchange and artistic growth, welcoming both professional dancers and broader community participants.

5 July – Nika and Luna Lilek
Open-level workshop and part of the research process for I Will Daydream Wide Awake. Focused on physical impulses, object work, and reflections on perception and inner dialogue.

19 July – Land Before Time (Joanna Holewa Chrona & Yared Tilahun Cederlund)
For experienced dancers: improvisation without touch, exploring connection through listening, rhythm, and fluid movement inspired by water and street dance techniques.

19 July – Branko Mitrović
Advanced dance workshop within the D. Dance Alliance project. A fusion of contemporary and street vocabulary, emphasizing floorwork, phrasing, and performative presence.

19 July – Memory in Motion
A community-based session of dialogue and reflection on place, memory, and imagination – guided by a Bulgarian architect and anthropologist. Part of the European project D. Dance Alliance.
