On 18 October, the Mediterranean Dance Center once again opens its doors to the world of Virtual Reality (VR)! This weekend brings two performances selected by Aerowaves – Europe’s largest dance network, recorded with a special technique that allows audiences to experience the performance through VR headsets, as part of the Springback Ringside project.

The VR versions are directed by Enya Belak, filmed and edited by Igor Crnković from Rijeka’s Pilot Media, with the Croatian Cultural Centre Sušak as the production hub and one of the project partners. The programme is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia within the audience development framework.

A woman named Roselyne is looking for her place. Her place in a room, her place in the eyes of others, her place in life. She wants to be invisible. She does not want to interrupt. She doubts. She always hides behind something. She has found her plant.
Roselyne may reflect our own doubts, the decisions we have not made, the opportunities we have missed. She is perfectly imperfect, just like all of us.
