The region extended an invitation – and dance artists responded with a wave of inspiring proposals!

The Pan-Adria regional network is pleased with the proposed productions submitted in response to this year's open call, which featured bold ideas and ambitious projects. The seven-member jury, representing the network of partner cultural institutions—including the Mediterranean Dance Center—carefully reviewed all applications, engaged in extensive discussions, and conducted interviews with the shortlisted individuals and collectives.

Meeting the criteria of a novel, transformative, radical, emancipatory and/or sustainable concept and project, the jury has decided to select the following contemporary dance production as the Pan-Adria 2025/2026 fellow: Jan Rozman with Psychoreography (working title), produced by Emanat, Ljubljana.

In his new work, Jan Rozman embarks on a journey through all realms of human existence. The project confronts the augmented reality of cyberspace where our bodies and lives have extended, skilfully navigating between physical, imaginary, and cyber spaces of possible movements. The author explores all this in the most analog way possible, using humor to ease the path toward confronting the most serious dilemmas of our reality.

We look forward to welcoming Jan in Savičenta – stay tuned!
