MOVING BALKANS: Unfolded Moments + Telos 360

28 November 2026 at 19:00
Mediterranean Dance Center, Svetvinčenat
Admission is free, but a free ticket must be booked through Entrio due to the limited number of VR headsets.

We begin the final programme weekend of the year at the Mediterranean Dance Center with an evening of dance in virtual reality. On Saturday, 28 November, we present two VR performances that offer audiences a different perspective on choreography and performance, brought to San Vincenti through the international dance platform Moving Balkans.
Unfolded Moments, by Enya Belak and Kristýna Peldova, and Telos 360, by Ermira Goro and Hannes Langolf, offer two distinct approaches to bringing dance and virtual reality together. Both performances are experienced through VR headsets and have been recorded in different formats, allowing viewers to encounter movement and space from a new perspective.

UNFOLDED MOMENTS
Enya Belak and Kristýna Peldova

Unfolded Moments is a hybrid dance and visual performance combining movement, video projections and visual elements. Choreographed and performed by Czech artist Kristýna Peldova, with a visual concept by Enya Belak, the work explores the human inner world, personal crises, fears and questions of identity.
Through the relationship between body and image, the artists explore the boundaries between the visible and invisible, revealing different layers of inner struggles and the changes an individual experiences.

The performance was recorded in VR 180 by the Croatian Cultural Centre in Sušak, Rijeka.
Duration: 35 minutes

TELOS 360
Ermira Goro and Hannes Langolf

Telos 360 is a VR adaptation of the performance of the same name, conceived and directed by Ermira Goro. Inspired by the ancient Greek concept of telos, meaning “end” or “fulfilment”, the work brings together different choreographic languages in a modular structure composed of interconnected solos.
The VR adaptation takes viewers into the choreographic world of Hannes Langolf, one of the contributing choreographers, exploring the relationship between individual expression, transition and a shared artistic whole.

The performance was recorded in VR 360° by En-Knap Productions in Ljubljana.
Duration: 16 minutes

ABOUT MOVING BALKANS

The touring programme of performances recorded in virtual reality is presented as part of Moving Balkans, an international dance platform bringing together 11 partners from across the region. Among them is the Croatian Cultural Centre in Sušak, Rijeka, which serves as a VR production centre.
The platform supports collaboration, mobility and the international visibility of contemporary dance in the region. Its VR programme enables dance works to reach audiences beyond the locations where they were originally performed.
The project is funded by the European Union.
