Špela Vodeb & Tina Valentan: 'GO TO ME' workshop

The workshop will be based on developing confidence for the movement of the body in contact with another body. Through exercises for sharpening the senses, we will align the mind, body and spirit and prepare to listen to internal excitation for movement. With exercises that test the gravity and weight of each other, we will develop the attention to communicate in a holistic way. This will deepen our awareness of our own, inner space and the outside world, and at the same time we will relax, ground and regenerate.

The workshop will be led by dancers of contemporary dance Špela Vodeb and Tina Valentan, who are members of group Milan Tomašik & Co. The workshop is based on Špela's rich knowledge of dance and circus partnering, and Tina's experiences with somatic practice Body-Mind centering and Body Weather. Dance pre-knowledge for participation is not necessary.

Participants need to bring comfortable clothes and comfortable shoes, because we will be also outside and water or something to drink and also some snack. A short brake is planned.
