LE COQ ET L’ÂNE (The cock and the donkey)
About the Absurdity in relationships.
Realizing that often we think that it is because of the other(s) if something goes wrong, if we are annoyed. It might be something wrong about him. The comic side is that both people think the same. It is the other’s fault. But we tend to forget that there is no one to blame. It is simply because two different ways of behaving encounter.
In the piece, we would like to bring up this comic of absurdity.

Two characters are sharing moments of their lives, as we would share the road on a journey.
In the weirdness and the struggle to deal with a different personality there is the beauty of accepting the other and his specificities. A nice challenge to adapt and reinvent yourself. A good opportunity to face the habits and see how it influences us.
And from scenes to scenes, intertwined, we can read a little story of meetings and sharings.

It is a narrative piece in which we would like to combine contemporary dance and physical theater.

Prunelle Bry was born and raised in New Caledonia.
She studied dance at SEAD - Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance in Austria and worked as a dancer for choregraphers such as Fabrice Lambert, Milan Tomasik, Michael Langeneckert, Julyen Hamilton, Alleyne Dance, Jorge Crecis, Helder Seabra, Eleonore Valere Lachky, Vittoria De Ferrari Sapetto, and Milla Koistinen, among others.
She have researched and choregraphed her own works that have been performed at various events such as Lust Am Risiko Festival, Salzig OnStage, Freakadelle KulturKlub and Elevate Festival.
The works are nourished by her experience and deep interest in a range of artistic expressions like sculpture, photography to films, art history and semiology. Alongside dance, Prunelle has extensive experiences in scenography, filming and photography/video editing, which she gained during a master’s degree in CGI Animation before embarking on a dance career.
